DumpStor is excited to work with the Children’s Cancer Fund for the third quarter DumpStor Delivers Project of 2023! A portion of every dumpster rented through the Franchisee partners, as well as the DumpStor corporate locations goes directly to the program. CCF’s mission is to “raise funds to benefit pediatric cancer research and treatment programs in North Texas. We are closely affiliated with Children’s Medical Center and UT Southwestern Medical Center, both of whom are national leaders in the research and treatment of pediatric cancer. By working closely with these respected organizations, we are able to strategically focus our funds on improving treatment and care methods for North Texas children who are affected by all types of pediatric cancer.”
The team at DumpStor shares in the Children Cancer Fund’s vision of a cancer free future. Through the work done in providing resources, inspiration and compassionate care for children with pediatric cancer, the Fund is an incredible organization to support.
Founded in 1982 and championed by former football stars, Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman, Children’s Cancer Fund has accomplished much:
- Over $11 million donated to pediatric cancer research in Dallas
- Has fulfilled a $2 million pledge to complete a comprehensive pediatric oncology research center at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
- Initiated funding for a full-time Child Life Specialist position in the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s Medical Center
- Established the first Child Life Services endowment for the Gill Center with a $1,000,000 donation
